A PRODUCTION OF QUALITY
Since 1909, our company, a family business of four generations of roasters, has always stood out for the top quality of its products entirely roasted on-site, blending the best coffee qualities imported directly from the country of origin and cleaned of any impurities before arriving from Trieste to our company and a second time at our facilities. We carry on the family tradition by blending different coffee origins before roasting them, thus creating an explosion of perfectly amalgamated flavors and aromas during the roasting process. As a result, our blends will always be consistent and uniform.
PRODUCTION SITE
Caffè l’Antico, unlike most Italian roasteries, has adopted production elements aimed at implementing high-quality standards at the expense of production costs, such as slow roasting for 18 minutes, air cooling process, and non-recycling of fumes, ensuring a product that is always consistent, fresh, and aromatic.
The entire process, from the introduction of raw coffee to the packaging of the finished product, is meticulously controlled electronically.
Our headquarters, located in one of the most thriving commercial areas, just steps from the center of Modena, boasts a state-of-the-art production site equipped with cutting-edge technologies that have allowed us to obtain the IFS FOOD-HIGHER LEVEL certification and become the first roastery in Modena recognized as INDUSTRY 4.0, acknowledgments that certify the high standards of the production chain, from raw product to finished product.
